Time flies! My partners and I have been running a lodging house in Kuching, Sarawak- Pinnacles Lodge Kuching, for more than 5 years. We all believe it is time for us to sell off our business after so ‘long’ in this industry. Why did I say long!? Long because it is a very competitive business and long because of the lack of support from government in Tourism Industry! So you would not like to stay too long in the industry if you are not happy with the red tapes and also monetary return (it is pity to see the number of tourist coming to Kuching as compared to Sabah).

2011 is the year of Rabbit. Chinese new year is always the season for reunion. Family and friends coming back from overseas to celebrate the new year together. But time flies, today is the 8th day of Chinese New Year (Chinese new year lasts for 15 days).  Some of you may still in new year mood, and have lots of dinner to attend every night. But watch out for your weight and don’t end up like me icon smile Happy Chinese New Year 2011! well…….overweight!

It is still festive season for a lot of us, especially in Malaysia. We celebrate lots of festivals here in Malaysia because we are living in a multi racial country. Starting with Xmas in December, New Year, Thaipusam in January and with Chinese New Year coming up next week.
