How about this – ‘ Information Overflow’. Sounds familiar right?
In the olden days, if you want to look for information, you either go to library or you ask around. But now you can access the info with few clicks on the keyboards. Not to mention we have online dictionary. So life has always been TOO easy for the Y Generation or Millennial Generation. The English Word – ‘Teenager’ shall be taken off from the Oxford Dictionary as all the Teenagers nowadays have become ‘Screenagers’. Why Screenager? Because they are looking at the screen all day long! – iphone, ipad, computer, TV etc. So don’t be surprise if you are a teacher and find your students hardly pay attention to you or the text book during the class or lesson. This is because the text book is Black and White. They are used to COLOUR screen! And they communicate more on Facebook than to the teachers!
